Just Didn't Come Together

Another day in my life that "just didn't come together" for me as I had planned it to.  *Sigh*, I know, I know.  I must remind myself there will be days like these.  It seems like these days have been going on for months like this for me though !!!

I awoke from pain in the wee hours of the morning.  When I had gotten up to look the wee hour had been 1:00 am.  I tried laying there but when one has shooting pains going from their toes up to their head, I think it is best to get up to try doing something to take their mind off it for a bit.  Geez whiz, until that point I am sure I had been having a wonderful sleep.

I did go back to lay down, managing at least another hour or so of unbroken sleep.

When Rob's alarm sounded off at 6:00 am, I refused to get up laying there until almost 7:00.  It has been a long day with me dragging my "sorry butt" around, Let Me Tell the World !

I had to go to the Post to get a couple of items off into the mail again.  I headed on downtown Wiarton, first stopping in to see my friend, Koreen of Ram Trophies and Sportswear.  I am pleased to introduce ....

".... Koreen herself, should anyone out there have not had the wonderful opportunity of yet meeting her in person themselves.   Koreen is No 1 in trying to get you what you need for your Personal or Business Needs anytime ."

Koreen does Rob's shirts and hats for his "Crabby Cabbie" Taxi business out of Saugeen Shores.

"This is the embroidered patch Koreen did for him on his Shirts and Hats.  I think it is pretty cool, don't you?  Thanks to Russ of Stinky Dog for the Design."

As I had already mentioned, Koreen has all kinds of wonderful Sportwear available as well, for yourself  personally or to give you some great gift giving ideas for another, not to mention being the "One Stop" place to get your official Wiarton Willie Gear.  Not sure where Koreen is located? just *click* right HERE.

Next I dropped into Karen's Creations next to get some photos printed off.  Across the street from Karen's, I took the time to drop into one of Wiarton's newest downtown locations, the Cocoa Vanilla where I met its owner, Jeff.  There I will be back after Christmas to sample some of their goodies and take a few photos at that time.

I then headed on over to drop off a card and a small bag of goodies to my Hairdresser at Hair Solutions.  Once I was all through there I went up a few buildings back to the Wiarton Post Office to do my business there, then on over to Sadler's Home Hardware to see about something there.

Home I finally came back to feeling totally wiped and exhausted.  Since I had some stew beef thawed, I forced myself up and onto preparing a pot of Beef Soup.

"Into the pot goes some dehydrated mushrooms I had done up well over a month ago.  They are coming in handy now to be used in soups and stews."

"I received some Happy Mail in the way of this Card along with the recipe from one of the Members from Cindy's Recipe Exchange on Facebook.  Does that not sound absolutely "yummy"?"

Later this afternoon I had a really extremely bad scare.  Lexus and I were outside dumping the veggie scraps into the compost when something out by the highway caught our eye.  Before I knew it Lexus was across the lawn and across the road after a very large yellow dog with its tail between its legs going as fast as it can down Highway 6.  I held my breathe as just as they were running across the road a car came around the bend.  I called and called.  They crossed the road again to stop on the neighbour's front lawn.  I called and Lexus came running back home.  I had to pick my heart back off the ground .... you can never be too cautious as one never knows, now do we?

My friend Carla over at My 1/2 Dozen Daily is hosting a Give Away for LillaRose.  To be eligible to win, you may do so by checking it all out by *clicking* HERE.  Here's to hoping you win ! but really it is a lovely clip that I am hoping to win myself.

  2. Sorry to hear you weren't feeling good last night. When do you see your primary care doc next? Perhaps, he/she should know what's been happening these past few months. Could be something simple to have checked out. Did you ever see what the dogs were chasing after? Maybe just a rabbit? Do take care of YOU.....Bess

  5. I hear you - I always need my 7 hours to be productive. Feel better soon. I'd be scared too if one of my pups go chasing "something" across the hwy. Here, we have tons of coyotes.
