Way Too Busy With Phone Nonsense

It was a "just before" 4 am morning here today.  Can I say "tired", barely never mind spelling it.  Today I felt not only tired, but was way too busy with wasted time trying to sort something out on the phone for over 2 hours with Bell Canada.  Does this sound way too familiar to many others out there?  I am pretty sure it does.

Finally off the phone, I headed on downtown as I had to get something in the Post today.  I also stopped into the Wiarton Salvation Army Store to take photos of their Silent Auction items for their Facebook page that can be LIKED by going HERE.  They would LOVE your support on their Facebook Page, this I know to be true and much appreciated as well.

Not surprising there will be some more really great upcoming Events in the Community for the upcoming Month of May.

"Not too many ever miss out on a Fish Dinner put on by local Fish Distributor/Shop, Howell's Fish.  The next one is a Dessert Auction ... really? how could I miss out on this one?  And check out The Wiarton Pioneer Kid's Club "Send A Kid to Camp" program by *clicking* HERE please."

The Barbecue and Event this past Saturday at the St. John's Church in Wiarton by the Wiarton Pioneer Kid's Club raised $250.00.  This amount will send "ONE KID" to Camp, with 29 More to raise money to go !!!  Thanks to everyone who supported this Event.

Finally I got myself back home.

"Check out the big honking solar sign across the road from our house.  It is advertising the Ferry is not running, along with an 800 number to inquire further."

Due to the water levels being down in Georgian Bay the Ferry's time starts this year have been delayed.  A full explanation may be found by *clicking* HERE.

"It was a beautiful, almost balmy, day today.  Signs of Spring are beginning to come forth in my flower beds.  I should have been out making a start on cleaning the gardens if I hadn't been busy on the phone for hours, or running the roads again."

This afternoon I finally got going on the double batch of Spaghetti Sauce I had planned on making yesterday.  When I pulled the defrosted meat from the fridge, I noticed the one package the meat was very dark.  I had pulled a package of ground Moose out that a friend had given us in error.  I called Rob to ask if he thought he would mind Moose meat in the sauce, and he replied "Go Ahead with it", which I certainly did.

"Half Ground Beef and Half Ground Moose browning in the pot.  The end result? totally out o this World ... oh so Yummy !"

Tomorrow is the 1st of May.  I would LOVE to know if anyone would like to join me in the following 30 Day Squat Challenge?  Should you be "On Board", please leave a comment below, or email me at justnorthofwiarton@live.ca    No worries if you can not do these free-standing and still up for the challenge, you can do so by doing a "sit to stand" from a chair.

I sure am looking forward to maybe a few of you joining me in this challenge.  You might think, but there is 31 days in May? of course you could use 1 extra day off in the Month, just pick your day, and we will count that as our "Reward Day" ... deal?  I also will be spreading the number of squats done per day be spread out as you see fit, as there will be no way I could do 100 all at once, never mind 250 !!!

Rob just took Buddy out for his evening walk about.  He will also do Bandit (like that is any work), and I will take the girls out before I get myself some relaxing time, after the Dinner dishes are washed up, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".

A Friend, Lunch and Relaxation All Go Together

This morning I was awake at 4 am AGAIN !  It was chilly in here with a damp drizzle going on outside our windows.  Dampness that chills the bones.  First things first was getting the wood stove going.

When I went down to the basement to get kindling, I was sure I had witnessed Mercedes inspecting her back end, this being a sure sign puppies were going to be coming soon.  WRONG !  No puppies, or everyone would have known loud and clear by now if there had been.  I called Rob to tell him he will have to come home to give Mercedes a bit of "shake down" to loosen those babies up a bit to help them along .... *smile*.

I was not really too productive this morning as I was tired ... being the good Canadian I am, this of course I blamed on being the fault of the damp drizzle first thing this morning.  I puttered with a bit of cleaning was all and out, about and in with my Aussies three times before I headed out to meet my friend, Koreen, for a luncheon we had planned over 2 weeks ago.

"I apparently have an addition to coats and jackets.  I am certain everyone must have something, and mine are coats, jackets and shoes/boots.  I counted 16 in our hall closet that belonged to ME ! I had to do something about this, so I made myself purge five of them.  I personally think this was a very good start."

I was then off to meet up to meet Koreen's at her place of business, Ram Trophies and Sportswear in Wiarton.

"While waiting for Koreen I couldn't help but admire all the Wiarton Willie pins on display from 1978 until 2013.  I also was thinking how the Wiarton Willie stuffy was so cute with its little pink nose.  Koreen not only does custom embroidery and trophies, she is also the Official Depot for Wiarton Willie Gear."

We walked up to the Cocoa Vanilla to where we had decided on to lunch today.  I treated Koreen this time, so it will be her choice when she treats next.  We ordered the Luncheon Trio which gives a selection of 3, your choice of 1/2 Panini Sandwich, Cup of Soup, and a Salad.

"Here is owner, Jeff, serving Koreen and my lunches up to us.  Service with a *smile*? you can not go wrong with that, nor the relaxing atmosphere shared with a friend."

"My Turkey Spinach Soup was amazing, as was my Turkey Club Panini, and Greek Salad.  Koreen gave me a taste of her Apple Squash Soup which was also very very good.  After lunch Jeff had been handing out to all the customers each a sample of Chocolate Nut Brownies and an Apple Carmel Smoothie (pictured below).  Nice touch ... "

My cousins had taken me to the Cocoa Vanilla for my Birthday luncheon, so I was very happy to go back to enjoy their food and relaxing atmosphere yet again for a second time.  Koreen and I had ourselves a wonderful two hour lunch, and relaxing chit chat.

Once Koreen went back to work, I headed home to my Aussie gang, and still NO puppies.  I did have myself some puppy cuteness yesterday that I would LOVE to share if you were to *click* HERE.

Finally A "First" All Together Family Photo

This morning my "Crabby Cabbie" husband arrived home at 5:30 am.  I was sitting up waiting for my poor dear.  He had a very busy night behind him.  After telling me a few happenings of his evening, needless to say he went straight off to bed.

One of the happenings Rob did tell me, I posted to his Facebook page this morning as follows:

The "Crabby Cabbie" really appreciated the Saugeen Shores Police approaching him at 3:30 am this morning to thank him for the great job him and his driver, Carolyn, did on providing rides to people to take them home from the Bars last night. They also stated it was almost a "trouble free" night for them last night. This is what we LOVE to hear !

Both Rob and I felt honored that the hard work he puts in week after week was actually being noticed.  Rob most certainly appreciated hearing such wonderful "feedback" especially from the Community's own Police Force, as well as from many of his Customers.  Hearing positive, makes it worth all the hard work trying to give good service and build honest Customer relations on a daily basis.  Thank you to Saugeen Shores, Southampton and Port Elgin !!!

I was to get Rob back up at 10 am, as we were meeting our boys today at a halfway mark for lunch and to give them their Easter Gifts. It had been so long I was "Over the World" excited at the prospect of seeing them.

While Rob slept for not long enough, I busied myself with a few household chores, a couple outings with the Aussie gang, and then a shower prior to getting him up.  He was up, showered and we were out the door towards the Redwood Restaurant in Clifford just after 10:30 pm.  We still had to go gas up in Southampton and meet up with the boys for 1 pm.  We were all on time within minutes of our meeting time.

"Outside in at the park prior to going into the Restaurant our "big" kid Paul, welding a plastic toy gun.  Boys will always be boys, no matter their age, and my Baby Boy will always be that to me.  There is smartie pants Connor picking lemon seeds from his teeth after sucking back on a piece of Lemon and a bottle of Dad's Root Beer.  Aiden sitting intently listening.  It was all so wonderful ... my heart was full being with them as I love them beyond the Moon and back."

"Check out some of the food fare we had served up to us at the Redwood Restaurant.  Caesar Salad, Grilled Chicken Burger loaded with cheese and mushrooms, local raised Beef liver smothered in cooked onions, Sirloin Strip Steak loaded with mushrooms and onions... it was all beyond good !"

Every time we have been by the Redwood, its parking lot is usually always full, so I called ahead the other day to guarantee we would have seats.  Clifford is not quite a halfway mark between our place and Kitchener.

Then came time for our very first Family Photo that we roped a very kind soul into being patient enough to "snap" some photos of us.

"One, two, three, four .... no score."

"Five, six, seven, eight ... was it ever going to happen???"

"Finally we did it !  managed one that wasn't too bad other then Connor ready to suck back on that Dad's Rootbeer, and my dear, Rob, with a smoke in his hand.  Regardless, I will take it as it is  US, as we are .... "

After the boy's left for home with their Easter gifts, Rob and I had one stop at the Canadian Tire Store in Hanover before we arrived back home to .....

"Happy Aussies and one very "chubby" Mercedes with yet no puppies."

Really today is only 63 days of the gestation, and it is not abnormal, as like humans, for them to go under or over the 63 days.  No worries or cause for alarm yet.  But I must admit I am getting pretty darn impatient and excited for them to arrive myself, never mind the others lined up to have one for their own.

Another Busy Busy Day !

This morning it was up and at it before 6 am.  Out, about, back in and feeding before 7 am.  Social Facebook updates done for the "Crabby Cabbie" and The "Checkerboard Aussies".  Rob out the door with a hot thermos of soup.  Dishes, bed made, vacuuming and dusting done before it was time to head out the door to pickup my friend Gayle, as we were off to the Wiarton Community Center to attend to the Women's Spring Expo !

The number of Vendors was amazing !  the disappointment was that there were hardly any people in attendance.  This I was surprised about, as it was an extremely organized Event with lots of advertising going on leading up to this day.  Ha ! to make things worse after having only taking a few photos the batteries in my camera died.  The funny thing about this was before I walked out the door, that little voice in my head said, "you should re-charge your camera batteries a little bit before leaving".  How often do you listen to your little voice in your head?  Obviously I should more often then naught, as I have been caught on other things before.

The few photos I did get were ....

.... of Kris Dawson with her Epicure..  Never meet Kris before? she is so sweet and knowledgeable about her products.  Give Kris a call at 519-935-2320 to order your Epicure Products.   Another of my favourite persons to see was Cathy of Cathy's Confections along with her husband, Clare.  Jeez I wish I wasn't trying to be more careful of my waistline as Cathy's butter tarts and handmade chocolates are "Out of this World".  Custom orders always available by Cathy, just check her out at her website HERE, or look her up on Faceook HERE.   Of course I had been drawn to the lady with the Homemade Fudge, knowing darn well I couldn't have any.  It had been the first time I had met this lady is who is Jackie's HOME-MADE -FUDGE out of Sauble Beach.  Have a very sweet tooth, give her a call at 519-422-2728..  Next was some more really really good stuff at the PineStone Preserves table with lots of old favourites & new ideas there in the way of preserves.  Great gift giving ideas for everyone was on Laurel's table.  Laurel is also located in Sauble Beach at 519-422-0766.  There was one particular Apple Pie Jelly I think I will be picking up for my Son's Birthday in July. "

"Pictured here is Laurel, who also has Laurel's Bed & Biscuits, Your Dog's home away from home !  Once again need your best friend looked after, or your kitteh minded? give Laurel a call at 519-422-0766."

Gayle and I really had enjoyed ourselves in the short time Gayle had for her lunch hour away from work.  I did go back to catch-up with a few others I had not gotten to see though.

Not long after getting back home, I had to hook-up with my "Crabby Cabbie" who just happened to have some photos of the McKenzie Family Benefit as it was getting off to a start first thing this afternoon.

"There were both our "Crabby Cabbie" vehicle up front and center.  Tim and Sarah were also there from the Green Door Cafe & Catering in Wiarton.  Inside Rob captured a photo of Tommy Gilham and The Chill Boys already belting out the tunes.  Lastly was Tim and Sarah's son, Nolan, who brought out a whole meal, and dessert for My "Crabby Cabbie" Rob and the "Crabby Cabbie's" Carolyn.... thanks for looking after him for me, Nolan !"

"Rob also got to get some photos of the buffet table set up, as well as the donations along the tables for the Silent Auction.  I see the Garden Ornament my friend, Lisa at Yard Works and I, along with The "Checkeboard Aussies" having had donated."

Rob reported back to me early this evening that the Mercer children had all gone together to bid on the Lawn Ornament we had donated for their Mother, Coral Mercer.  Coral told Rob she was so happy getting it.  WOW that makes me feel even better knowing that garden angel got such a wonderful home with someone I know !!!

Fashion Show And A Church Luncheon !

Last night I had plans to go out for the Evening.  Really this rarely ever happens that I go out on the Town for a night !  My friend, Lisa, had donated a few of her Yard Works Garden Ornaments to the Wiarton Optimist Club's very first Spring Event Fashion Show by Josie's of Wiarton.  In turn they had given her a complimentary ticket.  Lisa could not attend, and so kindly gave me her ticket.

I had been tired, and had second thoughts about going.  I "made myself go", since I needed to step out of my same old, same old routine.  Besides Rob was home and he would look after our Aussie gang in my absence, which encouraged me to go even more.

I was not disappointed I went.

"Walking in through the front door of The Wiarton Decor Center I was greeted by a couple of familiar faces.  There were all kinds of lovely door prized on display, donated by local businesses, a two piece band, my friend and Optimist Member, Gayle, acting as MC, with lovely Joyce Lynn acting as Vanna White.  Food?  it was an amazing selection.  See those little mini cheesecakes on the plate? my friend, Lynn, made those."

"There was a license bar with Tracey and Lynn wo-manning it and doing a great job of making everyone happy.  Joyce Lynn was having a great time making the door prize winners very happy by delivering them their prizes.  Can you believe it? I won a lovely lamp locally made by Caframo ! I was really glad after winning this that I had decided to go after all.  Besides that I was sitting with my friend Anita Dejong and her two sweet daughters, along with another friend, Nancy."

"There had even been two male models strutting off their stuff."

Then came the parade of lovely women ....

"The finale' was lead by Josie herself ... everyone was having a wonderful time."

I will definitely plan on going should the Wiarton Optimist Club have another Spring Event Fashion Show next year.  It was well worth the $25.00, especially when Josie's of Wiarton gave everyone attending a $20.00 gift certificate for her store ... a Win Win situation it was.  A huge applause to everyone who was involved as it was a "HIT SPRING EVENT" for Wiarton !!!

Today I was meeting up with my friend, Sharon, who was going with me to the Luncheon put on by my Auntie's Church in Port Elgin.

"We had nicely settled with my Cousin Vi, her husband, Ross, and their Grandson, when who show up by none other then MY "Crabby Cabbie" ... Jeez that boy couldn't miss out a chance of a homemade luncheon, or Cherry Cheese Cake !!!"

"Homemade Soup, choice of sandwich, and cheesecake, along with coffee or tea for a total of $7.00; really where can you have all of that goodness for that price?"

Sharon was kind enough to stop for me to make a couple of errands on our way home.  She even did a U-turn when both our eyes caught this sight in a field we were passing by ...

"Really isn't that the sweetest little Mini horse foal you have ever seen?"

Once Sharon had dropped me off back at my vehicle, I made one more stop then headed home as quick as I could, as by this time it was 3 pm.  YIKES !  my gang would all have their legs crossed I was sure.  They were all fine when I did make it home, but then I was gone again ...

I had gathered together donations from local Southampton and Port Elgin businesses for the Silent Auction tomorrow.   These businesses were very generous, so there will be some pretty nice items there to bid on.  Anyhow I had to go back out to deliver them to organizers Tim and Sarah of the Green Door Cafe in Wiarton.

"This was the donation my friend, Lisa of Yard Works, and myself and My Checkerboard Aussies donated for the Silent Auction.  Thanks Lisa for going in on this with me, as well as making and providing it."

I finally did make it back home to stay, but it  had been 6 pm by the time that happened.   While Rob looked after the gang for me, I got our Dinner of a baked Chicken Breast and Romaine Side salad ready.

YIKES ! it is after 8 pm already, no wonder I am tired.  Grammar, or spelling errs? sorry but I am all in but for my Shirt tail, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard."

Just Call Me The Crazy Dog Lady

Damn, damn, triple damn, I forgot to take warm milk and cocoa before going to bed last night and it turned out to be yet another sleepless night.  Thank goodness, after I had gotten out of bed for awhile I went back to bed to a nice warm husband there to tuck my cold feet into.  They were darn cold !

"This was me today.  A bit here and a bit there, but I plugged along with nothing too exciting jumping out at me while getting 'r done."

Early this afternoon there was some very unpleasant excitement that did go on here.

"And it all was caused by some ill mannered Buddy Boy deciding he would take a round out of mild mannered Bandit.  I make this statement not meaning Buddy is an unkind dog, but that this is what happens sometimes when two intact dogs come together, as really Buddy has a very loving nature towards us and others."

I had just came inside from being out with the girls, leaving Bandit out by himself as he is just fine on his own, while I took Buddy to put him out in the outside run, as it wasn't too bad of day until the rain started on later.

With Buddy outside in the run, I opened the side basement door to call Bandit in.... WHOOSH !!!  The wind had gotten up outside causing a vacuum effect pulling in the outside basement door to the kennel run.  While I had the door open for Bandit to come in.  I had not realized this and before the side door slammed shut behind me, out came Buddy.

I opened the door and almost had Bandit in, and was ready to get Buddy by the collar, however I was just not quick enough.  The battle began with Bandit holding back while Buddy tore into him.  It is unpleasant and terrifying to see the Nature of the Beast take over, whether it be humans or animals, however it is what it is.  The adrenaline kicked in.  I got behind Buddy and gained hold of his collar, pulling him until he finally let go his hold on the back of Bandit's neck.

I left Bandit behind as I returned Buddy inside to his crate with a scolding along the way.

I retrieved Bandit to inspect him all over.  He was fine, although shaken as I was.

Regardless of how cautious and careful a person can be sometimes "things" do happen out of one's control.  It is unfortunate but with much relief I was able to handle the situation.   I will not stand back,if I can help it, to ever allow harm to come by way of my dogs, whether towards each other or anyone or thing else that might cross our paths.

"I might be hanging a new "shingle" on my door in the very near future."

Shortly thereafter, once Bandit had the once over and de-traumatized, I took Buddy out on the lead for a walk in the back field.  He was very well behaved, listening the whole time I spoke to him ... hopefully there will not be a "next time".  Oh my shattered nerves .....

That pretty much wrapped up the excitement of my day around here, not that it is the kind of excitement one would ever go looking for (I hope not).

Do you listen the the Radio Station, 98 The Beach?  Turn on your radios tomorrow morning as there should be some SHOUT OUTS going on about the following Event this upcoming Saturday:

The Silent Auction Prizes are going to be awesome, with all the local businesses contacted chipping it without hesitation.  Hopefully I will have an updated list tomorrow on some of the cool stuff you can bid on, and who supplied it.  No ticket yet? then drop around to Cathy's Flowers and Sunset Lanes in Port Elgin to get yours prior to the Event.

GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITIES.  Really is that not what is all about, supporting each other? I would like to think so.  I also have to look after MY "Crabby Cabbie" guy ....

Pssst .... I know I am a pain, but until the 12th of May I hope I am a lovable "pain".  Because of YOUR support and daily votes we are now at 401 Votes, 36 more then yesterday.  Many thanks to friends who have also been sharing the link to their own personal Facebook pages, what a wonderful gesture on all your parts.

Here, There And It is ALL Local

You will NOT believe it, unless of course you are experiencing yourself where you live, because I hardly can myself ....

"Yes, it is snowing like the dickens but not sticken yet.  Hello April 24th, you do realize it is only a month away from the May 24 weekend, do you not?"

"Good thing I put a "huge" pot of Big Batch Chicken Soup to cook today, as my bones will need de-chilled with this cold again weather."

"And the wood stove nice and hot to keep me warm right through."

"As there are "others" around here that really don't seem to give a care about any of it."

"Hopefully all us Country Bumpkins know this when we see it, you know everything that "Screams" LOCAL !!!  This is part of Sweet Things from Dejong Acres website that can be found HERE.  It is pretty exciting as Dejong Acres is actually supplying my new Neighbour, who recently purchased the Elliot's Farm Garden next door to us.  Announcement as follows ...."

We are excited to announce our Fresh Lamb

Really when things get settled more a bit here for me with not being so busy (as if that will ever happen in my Lifetime), I will have to slip over and introduce myself to Mike and Cindy Soloway, and show you the changes that have been made over there at the Farm Market.  A little "birdie" told me there have been all brand new coolers and freezers installed, and I am certain there will be a few other "new" things to see to.  Mike and Cindy used to own the local Wiarton Foodland store before it was bought from them by Sobeys.

WARNING !!!  Wild Turkey Hunting Season Opens Tomorrow.  Wear bright clothing if walking Trails and Fields.

Ontario Spring Wild Turkey Season Opening Soon
OFAH and OCOA promote a safe, responsible hunt
The last week of April is what tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts have been waiting for: the
traditional start of wild turkey hunting in much of southern Ontario. This year the season opens April 25
and runs until May 31, including Sundays in those municipalities that support Sunday gun hunting. The
Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) and the Ontario Conservation Officers Association
(OCOA) commend everyone who will take to the field in celebration of our outdoor heritage, but remind
all hunters to put safety first, and respect private property.

“Licensed hunters across southern Ontario will be in the field for the next five weeks, hoping to harvest a
wild turkey for the table. A large percentage of us will be hunting on private property, through the
generosity of a landowner. It is important that we take time before the season starts to make clear
arrangements with them, and after the hunt, to thank them for the privilege of using their land,” said
OFAH Executive Director, Angelo Lombardo. “In addition to this, it’s extremely important to remember
that if successful, it is mandatory to report the bird by no later than noon the day after it’s harvested by
calling 1-800-288-1155. The OFAH supports mandatory reporting as it provides wildlife managers with
important information about populations, which help determine turkey hunting opportunities.”

“Trespassing is one of many complaints our officers respond to every season. We urge hunters to ensure
they know the boundaries when hunting on private property and that they always obtain permission
before entering,” said OCOA President, Joe McCambridge. “It’s also important to remember that it’s
illegal to hunt within 400 meters of where bait has been deposited and that wild turkey hunting ends at
7:00 pm each day.”

The above article was sent to me from friend, Stu Paterson, (one "t" as they couldn't afford two), which leads to me to another LOCAL talent.

"Please meet Jason Clark, pictured on the right in this photo (the big guy)."

Listen up ladies, as your hunter husbands might be interested in what Jason Clark invented and sells, if they are into Turkey Hunting that is.  Jason created and sells the Turkey Slayer Custom Calls.

Let me tell you, I used to work with Jason a few years back and I am proud this young man followed through with his passion of creating these Custom Calls.  I remember many times of Jason speaking about them, and now actually seeing it has all unfolded for him ... HIGH FIVE Jason !!!

Hope I got your hubby's interested ladies, as now I am going to direct you to Jason's website where you might want to purchase one of these sweet Turkey Slayer Custom Calls to encourage your dear husband to get out of your hair the house and do himself some hunting.  Check it out HERE.

Jason also has a Business Page for his Turkey Slayers Custom Calls on Facebook, that can be found HERE.  Please go on over and give his page a big LIKE, as he might have the thing to encourage that man of yours to go on a wee hunting trip in the next 5 weeks now that Wild Turkey Season is Open.

Thanks Jason for going forward with your Dream and Creation, as that in itself is very inspiring to myself and others.

And of course, I can not forget all about MY "Crabby Cabbie" .....

What have I been doing all day? other then taking Aussie dogs in, out and about all day long in falling snow?  I have been Paying It Forward with some "cold calling" to raise donations for a Silent Auction in support of a Community Event that is going on this Saturday.  More on that tomorrow.

Okay now that I have written another whole book today, I think I will call it a wrap, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".

Get The Red Marker and Calendars Out AGAIN !

Okay tonight I must remember to drink a mug of warm milk and pure cocoa, as I forgot again last night and was awake almost the whole dang evening.  I am looking forward to my bed tonight !

To add "insult to injury" Rob just got down to work and called back home.  His "Crabby Cabbie" vehicle died and would not start .... oh happy days again for us !  NOT.

Thank goodness our driver came out to cover for him while he had his friend tow it back home to Wiarton to our Mechanics, who in turn accommodated him right away.  Thank goodness for good friends I say.  They found out the fuel pump was done.  Our usual spot didn't have one in stock, however we were fortunate enough to get a used one at a local Wreckers.

By the time I went to pick Rob up from the mechanics, go get the part, drop back to the mechanics, stop downtown on two errands, it had already been lunch time when we got back home.  So much for my plans today.

The "Crabby Cabbie" vehicle was fixed and ready to roll by 1 pm.  My Rob headed on back down the highway to pick it up and drop off our "backup vehicle", as it is in need of a new steering column; oh woe is me.  Really how can a guy make any money when Mr. Murphy keeps throwing wrenches into his vehicles for the past 4 months.  Give me a break !!! as we are in dire need of one at this point.

Owning your own Business is highly overrated.

Once Rob did leave I did manage to get the one thing that had been bugging me.  The stairs and landing at the front door got scrubbed.  Not that they will stay that way long with rain in the forecast and Mr. Mucky feet Bandit in and out all day long, but at least in my mind I know they were done.

I am going to be trying out a "new to me" Penne Tuna Casserole tonight if Rob ever arrives back home for Dinner.  I will update about that tomorrow.

In the meantime, Get the Red Marker and Calenders Out AGAIN !!!

I am confident I have done my part in supporting our Communities for the Month of April.  Jeez April is one busy Month, as you can probably tell with all those Red Marker dates circled on your Calender, right ???

Holy Moly, it is only 3 PM and I am done posting for this day.  I have to get going as there is a couple Aussies requesting my attention at the moment, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
