I have naught a photo nor a topic that even crosses my mind that I would interest myself in talking about. I am out of steam. The lack of sleep is starting to catch up with me with an energy level coming up to nil.
My poor Rob isn't too much better at the moment. Not only was I awake for but a couple of hours last night, he went out on 3 calls not getting home until well after the clock struck midnight. Poor guy is also exhausted.
Truly I do not know about anyone else but when it rain it literally puts a damper on not only one's mood but the whole body, does it not? Thank goodness we have a wood stove with heat that warms right to our souls. It feels GOOD.
Truly I had thought I had been getting past the menopause stage, however after a couple months off it seems it has returned turning up the furnace with a fury within myself which does NOT compliment the no sleep. The part that ticks me is when I am freezing cold one moment I can not understand why the inner furnace can't turn on then? NO, nothing is simple, nor make sense at times.
Awhile back I had entered a Facebook contest (yes another), and won a $50 Gift Certificate from HAVE1.com in Owen Sound. They do signs and all kinds of cool promotional things. It wasn't all that long ago that I had also won 10 hats with the Crabby Cabbie logo on them for a Value of $100.00.
This time I thought I would get something for myself. I ordered a winter coat from a supplier HAVE1.com uses, Ash City. The coat I had ordered was a $233.00 jacket marked down to a discontinued price of $64.99. After my GC and taxes the jacket will be costing me $22. plus change.
The cool part about this is my girlfriend, Vicki, also won a GC, and also had ordered the same jacket for herself. She is coming up tomorrow to meet up with me in Owen Sound so we can meet for lunch then pickup our jackets.
I am looking forward to tomorrow, rain or shine & thank God there is NO snow yet, as that is something I am not looking forward to.
Our Portia girl got through the day with finally drinking, however not eating. I am confident she will be feeling better tomorrow. She was one of the reasons I also been up a couple of times last night, and outside..
I am hoping to cuddle into bed early to watch The "Voice" then get a good night's sleep, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

ReplyDeleteNot sleeping makes everything harder, doesn't it? Insomnia has been the worst part of menopause for me, so you have my sympathy. Hope you have sweet dreams tonight.
