Festive Five's First Vet Visit

Today I had a busy day ahead as we were taking the Festive Five puppies to the Vet for their first check-up and vaccination.  We were headed out the door just after 8:30 am.

Two of the Forever Homes were going to meet us there to pickup their puppy.  Natasha & Colin were coming from Toronto to collect Raven, and Steve was picking up Snickers for him and his wife, as they only live minutes from our vets.

We have been going to the Mildmay Veterinary Clinic for the past six years and absolutely love them there.  Dr. Kim has been our vet our last three visits, and we now request we have her if possible.

First in the line-up was Raven with his owners, Natasha & Colin.  They got "hands on" with Raven's first vet visit.  Jaron works at the clinic and loves seeing our Aussie pups come in, so she came on in to have a little visit with them all.

Snickers was up next doing very well, and then Jax who you would have thought was doing this all 8 weeks of his whole life.

Then Izzy and Lyric were up next.  Both girls were super "perfect" for Dr. Kim.

Raven is now home with Colin & Nastasha, and Steve took Snickers home to his wife, Tanya, and new baby boy, Joseph.  Very  happy puppies and Forever Homes.

This is Shea-Lyn, whose family owns Rusty, one of our pups.  Shea has helped me with the last 3 litters going to the vets.  Today was also her 20th Birthday, so after we had gotten back home I took her out to the Green Door Cafe for a birthday luncheon.  I am truly blessed to have her set of hands helping me out.

I am exhausted ! but it was a good kind of exhaustion today spent with positive people, happy people and happy puppies.

Rob is cooking us a Dinner of pork chops, leftover fried potatoes & steamed broccoli.  I have been a lucky gal this day, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

  1. both a good and a sad day. When will the next set be born?

  2. Lucky puppies going home with their new families. And they look so well behaved!!

How nice of you to drop around to have a wee visit with me to see what I have been up to from time to time. I look forward to your comments as they add much brightness to my each and every day to know there are such wonderful people out there.
