The past three days have been a whirlwind, now all past. It all began after our bookkeeper left Wednesday morning when I headed South to New Hamburg to see my Son, Paul.
That same day I was able to see our grandsons, Aiden and Connor, as they had been visiting with their father for an overnight.
Hanging out with the boys for breakfast before taking them to school had been fun.
Paul & I carried on to have a grand day together. We dropped into Kitchener to say "Happy Birthday" to our long time friend & mechanic, Doug before heading out to the St. Jacob's Farmer's Market to get my Uncle Basil an "Albert Weber Summer Sausage". I love Albert Weber's SS, much better then the Noah Martin's. Then we headed all the way back to Kitchener to go to the Costco Store for me to pickup a couple bags of Dog Food for the Aussies, as well as a few other items. Paul had even went into a Thrift Shop with me where he found a great deal on a Bean Bag for the boys. Lunch was at the Mandarin Restaurant where I treated us.
I almost forgot the photo of our darling Elizabeth, who had just arrived back to her home after a 12 hour night shift. She is absolutely adorable, is she not?
After a full day of Paul & I spending some "quality" Mother & Son time, we headed out later to the local library with Paul, Elizabeth, Briar, Chloe & Josh to pick out new books and have ourselves a bit of fun family time together.
Alas this morning arrived & I had to pack up and head it back Northward Bound. The roads had been a bit on the icy side for the first part of the drive, so I took my time until drier roads came along.
After meeting up with my Auntie to pass her Uncle's Sausage, and filling up with fuel, I finally made it home about 11 am. I had to get the payroll together, do some billing, make the bed, do the dishes and finally have a nice hot shower before heading back out over to Sauble Beach to the Chiropractor for a 3:30 pm appointment. Needless to say, after all that driving, my neck had not been in very good shape.
Not long ago I had entered a photo I had taken of Bandit and Lexus in a contest to win a $100.00 Gift Certificate for Custom Framing by Jenny Lee Learn on her Facebook Page. After my appointment I headed on over to see what the Custom Framing was all about. Mind you I have met Jenny Lee in person last Summer, and have also admired some of her Custom Art first hand, so I was excited to meeting up with her about the Custom Framing she also does.
I am pleased to, once again, introduce you to Jenny Lee Learn. I was amazed with what she showed me and what she explained to me on how she makes the custom frames. There is not too much this girl can not create in the way of matting and framing. And her artwork ? wonderful ! Please look Jenny Lee up on her Facebook Page at JLee's Custom Framing & Artwork by going HERE. And truly besides all she does, she is a delight to be around. Once I decide what I want to have done, you will be sure to see more of Jenny Lee's work then, if not before.
Once I had left Jenny Lee, I headed back to Wiarton to stop around to The Painted Turtle & Balloon Headquarters to see owners, Wenda & Cathy, about a few things they wanted to know about Facebook. It was fun as usual. After that a stop at the RBC bank and a quick trip into Rankin River Trading Co.
By the time I arrived home for the 2nd time today it had been 6 pm. A quick Dinner was then put together of crispy bacon and French Toast.
