I LOVE My New Whirlpool Oven Range !

"Here we are again ... 1 hour "out" of wack, loosing more sleep.  The upside?  Wonderful longer brighter days ahead."

I was back in my "element" again this morning in the Kitchen with my new Oven Range.  I LOVE My New Oven Range Whirlpool Convection.

My friend, Sharon, had gifted me a bag of Hershey Cinnamon Chips she had brought back from Florida with her at Christmas time.  I have had Apple & Cinnamon on my mind for the past month.  Today I was thinking mini muffins, however when digging out the baking pans I came across the Mammoth baking tins I had bought awhile ago and long forgotten about until today.  This is what I was using this day, the Mammoth Muffin tins.

"Sugar, butter & eggs mixed together until smooth.  Wet meets up with more wet and apples.  Dry meets wet.  Cinnamon Chips are introduced to everything."

"Convection Baked at 325*F for 45 minutes produced the most amazing Apple Cinnamon Chip Muffins !  Oh they are truly a "wicked" good muffin."

Not too long ago I had been visiting fellow blogger, Paula over at At Home With Us, wherein she had posted her recipe for Colin's Chocolate Cake.  I had it in my head I was going to try making it myself, and today was that day.

"As Paula suggested the recipe could be doubled and a Bundt Cake Pan used.  This is exactly how I did it."

"What on Earth would a Chocolate Cake be without Chocolate Icing?  I got out the Masterson Family Reunion 2005 Cookbook, as I was going to try my hand at making my Auntie Gladys' "Shiny Icing".  It turned out lovely with the consistency being perfect."

"Colin's Chocolate Cake with Shiny Icing was simply delish."

I have had yet another full day with a houseful of wonderful company, hence the late post.  Oh yes I did feed everyone something more then all these yummy desserts.  The main course being ...

"Baby Back Ribs slow roasted in the Oven; water drained with Miners' Maple Products Maple Chipolte BBQ sauce added for the last 1/2 hour.  Melt in your mouth "meaty" ribs."

Pssst ... don't tell anyone but I am really tired and going to "sneak" off to bed here very shortly, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
