No it has not stopped Snowing, but Happy ....

I awoke again today with a Migraine still from the weather changes AGAIN.  I know all my friends have great thoughts and suggestions with how to rid myself of these daily constant headaches, however my most recent resort has been to a Chiropractor to no avail yet, and hopefully I will hear from the Headache Clinic in Toronto I have been referred to.  As I have mentioned to all my friends, I have almost tried everything, short of cutting my head off from my neck up to rid myself of these migraine, cluster and/or sinus headaches, not always necessarily in that order.

I managed to do a load of laundry, sweep the floors and make the bad today.  I also was happy to catch an unsuspecting Bandit on my camera .....

I love looking out the window to watch Bandit out on his "rounds".

It is very seldom that I nap throughout the day, but today I had to go lay down after a hot shower gave me no relief from my headache nor pains.  I actually did drift off for about half an hour until Rob called to say he was off on a run to Owen Sound, did I still want to go along.  Yes I did as we were out of fruit and yogurt, which is cheaper then buying at our local Foodland Store.

We had gone to Walmart where I got Cantaloupe, Bananas, 2 varieties of Apples & Oranges, along with Yogurt all at very good prices.

Today one of my friends had posted the following to her Facebook Page that I just happened to really like, enough to share with everyone.

"Those who are quick to remind you of your worth and strength when you feel like a complete wreck are the best companions to have while going through the sea of adversity. You should also be thankful to those who abandoned you, for they have shown you who the wonderful people are in your life." — Dodinsky 

These are great words I must remember at times when I am feeling conflict with others who think no other then their opinion counts, or I am finding turmoil in the ups and downs through hills and valleys I might go through in my life wherein I find some others not to be supportive or understanding.

This headache is not wanting to budge with bed in my very near future.

A Wonderful Family Luncheon

I really look, forward to my Aunt, the Cousins and I getting together every Year for a pre-Christmas Luncheon  This Year was no exception.

We had a great time today, enjoyed the chatting among ourselves while lunching, exchanging a few small gifts, then the shopping afterwards in Downtown Wiarton.

Unfortunately I have been fighting a Migraine Headaches since getting up this morning, as the weather is changing again.  I am going to have to post about my day tomorrow, as at this moment I am going to seek out the comfort of my bed and a dark room.

I am hoping my bed and the migraine medication will ease headache, as it is the 2nd time I have taken meds for it already this day, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".

Plans Go Down The Tubes

I awoke this morning with a pain behind my eyes and my nose.  First thing I thought that the weather is changing again with another Sinus Headache coming on.  First things first was my Nose Spray to try to take some or the pressure off.

I carried on with letting my Aussies out, about, back in and feeding duties all done before I had my first coffee.  Coffee done,  our bed got made, before I put in a phone call to my sister.  An Aura had begun bringing disorientation, dizziness and pain searing up through the back of my head.  The dreaded "migraine" was taking over to make claim on my being.  

"I immediately took my prescription medications.  Much to my dismay they took the edge off, but the sickness was overwhelming with more disorientation, stomach upset and nausea.  Gravol was my next plan of action."

Here it is 5:23 pm with me feeling still very ill to my stomach with my head feeling like it is swimming.   The medications not only knock the heck out of a migraine (sometimes), but also knock me on my butt.

"One load of laundry was washed, hung out and brought back in.  A few dishes in the sink had been done.  The book work that still needs my attention sits untouched on my dining room table .  The Homemade laundry soap I had planned on making today still sit where I had left the ingredients."

Needless to say the plans I had for today went down the tubes.

Another Canadian Music Icon passed on to Heaven to join God's band of Angels.

Rest in Peace, Rita MacNeil.

My most memories of Rita was watching her Christmas Specials from Year to Year.  I always put the station on for my Mother to watch them.
