Happy May 1st ! along with this date Summer Pricing for Hydro comes into effect. I prefer this pricing structure as the lower Time of Use from 7 am til 11 am allows me to get a couple of loads of laundry washed and out on the line earlier in the day.
The bad news with the 1st of May? yes Hydro has implemented yet another increase in their rates. More on that can be found HERE. The same old story applies here, "why are all the necessary amenities on the rise, but never our incomes" Yes we are quickly headed toward "poor status" much quicker then imagined it would be.
We have always said the "middle class" was going to be wiped out. I think those days have begun since about the time HST came to be.
By the way, how is everyone making out with the 2015 52 Week Money Challenge? I am still on track with it, working backwards with it this time around.
I am exhausted, again, today. I did get a load of laundry washed and hung however. Hopefully I can fitfully this evening and have a more energetic day tomorrow, especially now the weather has been getting so lovely, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.
