My day began with this beauty outside my windows. How could anyone not love waking up to such Beauty?
Today I had in my mind to finish the last quarter of the Crabby Crabbie books, and do a load of laundry. I accomplished both. The books are done just awaiting to go to the accountants in the next month. Phew glad that is over until the next three months is past and starts the process all over again for me. Now there is the matter of the rest of the house being cleaned .... tomorrow will come, will it not?
What made me happy today?
... the 100 "permanent" stamps my Girlfriend had purchased for me in Fergus, as my local Post Office had stopped selling them as soon as Canada Post had announced the price increase this upcoming Year on March 31st. You can read more about that HERE. The Dove Shampoo & Conditioner I had paid $7.97 for one & received the other one FREE with a coupon that had been in the Source Flyer this week. Take-out lunch from the Cocoa Vanilla in Wiarton, was compliments of my friend, Koreen, who had treated me today. Yes I was happy, 3 things happy today.
Once I returned home from Lunch, I got a couple of more things done before I had headed out to my 3:30 pm appointment
Even after the dramatic January Thaw we have been experiencing the past few days, there is still lots of snow. It had been raining on & off all day here. Our driveway was quite the skating rink in some places.
My appointment must have lasted about 1 1/2 hours before I was on my way home to collect Rob, as he had to go pickup our Old Blue Crabby Cabbie vehicle as it had been in for a front end alignment.
Since I had such an amazing lunch with my girlfriend, Dinner for me was "light" with 2 pieces of toast with Peanut Butter. Rob? he fared for himself by making his own sandwich since he had himself a hot Chili Luncheon here at home today.
Before I settled in to do this Blog post, we had a little Tug & Pull fun with Bandit. He is one very strong puppy dog !
Before I sign-out, any Ontario Bloggers out there who would like to sign on for the 2nd Annual Ontario Blogger's Day, please check it out by going to the bottom of the linked in post HERE.
Now that I am reflecting back on my day, I realize it was filled with LOTS of Happy moments. Regardless of all the ups and downs Life brings my way, I truly am blessed, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
