Day 2: Amazing

I am very tired with another big day ahead of me, but first I will share just a wee bit of the amazing day I have just had myself.

Up before and out the door at 6:30 am, Toni and I headed out on our 2nd day of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

As luck would have it, we were barely in the Park when we were fortunate to spot this big Bull Moose right off the get go.

Further on in the Park we could not but help to stop and be intrigued by days long gone by.

Just set off again to witness a Moose Cow with her set of twins ... oh this was beyond fortunate, as was the scenery we were to behold further along.

Once again I found myself intrigued by prints of History left behind.

Amazing and breathtaking with a young Eagle capturing our undivided attention, along with the landscape it rules from above.

There are many more photos I would like to share from my day today, however I am exhausted and will fast-track to part of the end of my day.

Toni's in-laws are fantastic hosts.  Here is her Sister-in-law Kathy with a "k", who is finishing preparing the Dinner her daughter had put together for all of us this evening.  yes those would be stuffed Chicken Breasts, with Cream Cheese & Hot Pepper Jelly ... can I say "YUM"? of course they were.

I finally made it to the Lawerencetown Beach !!!!  Thanks everyone who got me there before the end of 24 hours ....

Cold but amazing to have my feet for the first time ever in the Alantic Ocean.

For a "night cap" we were taken down to the Halifax Habour by Kathy and her husband, Dave.  Thank you so much for having me along on Toni's visit with you.

Amazing? more in-between, but too tired to go there right now.  Tomorrow? we head out across Eastern Canada homeward bound for Ontario, and my home, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".

The Highlands are one of the most gorgeous spots in the country. I must go back again.

How nice of you to drop around to have a wee visit with me to see what I have been up to from time to time. I look forward to your comments as they add much brightness to my each and every day to know there are such wonderful people out there.
