After a first coffee I got going on the Aussie out and abouts, then it was a "reality" check and back to the "old grind".
Yes there was lots of Crabby Cabbie paperwork to take care of, and that doesn't even include the Bookwork still ahead of me. Hmmm ... dishes, a bed needing stripped, laundry, lots of laundry as only the bedding and whites got done this day.
Then the phone rang. Could I go pickup up at the Hospital and meet up to drop off a package to our other Taxi Driver. Sure I could drop everything I was doing and head on down the road ... why not?
Once I had got back home from doing that and filling my Van up with fuel down Saugeen Shores way, I got two loads of laundry hung on the line before heading back downtown. The day before I had left for Nova Scotia I had lost my bank card somewhere, so had to get to our bank to have that replaced.
I also took a drive down to Wiarton's Bluewater Park.
Really there is lots offered at the Bluewater Park and Colpoy's Bay. Really those of us who are fortunate to live at the Gateway to the Bruce Peninsula in Wiarton have so much at our fingertips in the way of beauty and outdoor things to do.
Today I had also came across a video Explore the Bruce had posted to their Facebook page on the 2013 MultiSport Race that took place last Saturday. Check it out.
Really do you think those involved are very "fit" individuals. Darn straight they would have to be in order to accomplish what they did that day !
Late this afternoon the laundry came off the line with the bed made back up and the remainder folded to be put away. Rob came home shortly after. We each had a coffee and a hamburger for our dinner.
We are both very tired, making us a bit on the grumpy side. I hate when we are both grumpy at once, but this will pass as most things in life do.
Tomorrow I have yet another busy day ahead as I have to be up and at it to do some more "Crabby Cabbie" work for my Boss, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
I hiked the Bruce when I was 18 haven't been up there since , so many lovely places to go for nature in Ontario . Like the ad say's Yours to discover ...Ontario ! I am glad you enjoyed your trip ,awesome photos . Thanks for sharing . Have a great weekend !
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, I can't even imagine you "grumpy". However, hope you are feeling better soon, this weather is too nice to have it affect you so. We are in Bobcaygeon now, can almost see home. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have been all the way to the coast and back and we haven't even gotten to the end of the T/S. Alice
I've hiked section of the trail, but not much on the peninsula.
