A Perfect World Would Have ....
"Last night my two "big" guys were left here while Mercedes and I took ourselves to bed. LOL, they eventually did find their way ... "
It was most difficult to get going this morning, however we endeavored to do so.
Today was the day I had to get some "Crabby Cabbie" book work and paperwork done. Once I managed to get everyone looked after, two coffees into me, caught up on emails and such, I got down to the nitty gritty ....
"The tools of the trade all set and ready to go. Ho Hum. Actually now the more I have done it the easier it does seem to be (a little bit anyway)."
"I even processed our very first Invoice #001 ! Whoo hooo, I hope it will be one of many, with the "Crabby Cabbie" business & my "Crabby Cabbie" eventually becoming a wonderful success some day ... as always, sooner then later would be the best ! LOL"
Finally with just a few columns to be added up, I got a break as we had to head on up North of the Checkerboard to Lion's Head. Rob went to see the good Doctor, with us then heading over to the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, as I had picked up some Summer Capris for Mother.
I am sure we never arrived back home until at least after 3 pm. The days sure speed by when there is so much to do, and when one isn't feeling the greatest.
Rob had bought us a brand new tap set for the kitchen sink, as the old one had been drip, drip, dripping, driving me more "nuts" then I already am some days.
"The sad part about this tap needing replacing, was that it really wasn't that old."
"Rob splurged, buying a Moen with a Lifetime Guarantee. The cheapest one he could find was for $79.09, after taxes."
"I suppose two birds where gotten with one stone, as I wiped out under the sink once the new taps had been installed. It really wasn't too bad under there at all!"
"Let me "tell the World", how nice not to hear that drip, drip, drip any longer. I had to laugh, as I had said to Rob, "I really need to get a life, if I have to "blog" about new kitchen taps" .... oh please someone save me from it all !"
I finished up the rest of the "Crabby Cabbie" books, then made us an Easy Peasy supper as 1-2-3 ...
"Rob and I never have breakfast, per say, so occasionally we have a fried egg sandwich with cheese .... simple but yummy."
After supper it was a half hour lay down, which was apparently not a good decision, as when I got back up I was "chilled" through to the bone. A hot cup of coffee took a bit of the chill out of my bones just before it was time to take the girls out, and have some "puppy" time.
"When it comes to our "pack" and the "Spectacular Six" puppies, I am sure I am the absolute most popular person going at times. Look at those little faces filled with adoration for me ... lol."
Mercedes has been placed downstairs with Lexus for the time being, as she has just began a "heat" cycle. She is only going to be 1 year old on July 12th, much too early for her to become impregnated, should being at least 1 1/2 years of age before having a first litter. This "puppy" business is not always as easy as it looks to the average onlooker ... planned pregnancies are our main "objective", although in past years there have been known to be an "few accidental" ones.
Rob took Buddy out for his evening walk tonight before putting him to bed. Bandit still needs his outing, once more for the girls, Lexus and Mercedes, with the "Spectacular Six" puppies to be put to bed, all before I think about my own bed.
Even though a bit on the cool side today, the rain stayed at bay. A "perfect" World would have warm balmy temperatures all day long, with gentle embracing rains throughout the evenings when we here are sleeping soundly, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
