Happy Siblings Day !

What a dreadful night both Rob & I had last night.  A Thunderstorm started to roll in about 1 am causing our two masculine male Aussies, Bandit & Buddy, much fear.

I had been woken to a non-stop barking Buddy.  I went down to take him outside (twice), then again to offer him a treat and water.  Nothing worked so bark he did until the storm finally rolled by two hours later.  Bandit?  he was panting heavy and shaking like a leaf.  Poor boys being so fearful, and I can not blame them as I am fearful of things as well, although I do love a good T-storm, don't you?

Needless to say I never got back to sleep, and Rob didn't get much sleep when he did.  Another day in the life of fatigue.

I got all my ducks lined up and headed down to the bank this morning to get our HST paid for the 1st Quarter.  What a relief to have that off my mind !!!

Later in the morning I headed on down to the Wiarton Salvation Army where I met up with a friend who is very involved and heads up a few of the programs there.  Bless Tess for countless hours she puts in a week, with no sleep herself at times.

Since I had not seen inside the new Peninsula Community Food Bank facility since it had been finished I got the Grand Tour today.

The generosity of the Community coming together made the new facility possible !

Unfortunately the coffers at the Community Food Bank are very low.  Should anyone have anything "extra" in their own pantries, I am certain it would be appreciated with open arms.  Hopefully I can get together a box to deliver myself next week.

This afternoon I just layed down on the couch to close my eyes for a moment when the phone rang and I was called out on an errand.  No rest for the wicked, ever it seems.

When I had popped onto Facebook for a brief moment today I seen a post from Josie's of Wiarton which immediately caught my eye.  I stopped around to see Josie and the item in person.

I didn't have time to try one on, however I will be going back tomorrow to do so.  I love the colours, and think it would be perfect for a July wedding.  I have my fingers crossed it will look okay on me.

Josie also has a pair of Silver sandals there as well that I will also try on with it should she have my size in it.  I think if all goes well in the fitting department for me it would compliment perfectly with the wedding party colours.

I had a weird thing happen to me this morning.  When I had gotten up, for good, this morning, I thought my nose was running.  I got a kleenx only to find my nose was bleeding.  After about 4 blows and wipes it stopped as suddenly as it had started.  I am assuming the barometer change brought it on.

I was not aware, but found out on Facebook, today is National Siblings Day.  Have you told your sibling(s) you love them?  I actually spoke to all three of mine today.

This was taken 2 years ago when we were all together visiting our Mother.  My brother, Allan, myself, and my sisters, Donna & Jeanne.

I hope maybe this Summer will find us all together again.  In the meantime "Happy Siblings Day" to all !!!

Auntie Gladys & Aunt Gerry, did you speak to each other today?  xoxoxo

Well, being a deep subject, I think I will soon call it a night here, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

  4. I didn't know about National Siblings Day.

Some dogs are okay in storms... others just can't stand them.

How nice of you to drop around to have a wee visit with me to see what I have been up to from time to time. I look forward to your comments as they add much brightness to my each and every day to know there are such wonderful people out there.
