Debilitating Me !

"This will be one short post this day as really truly this is how I am.  This Migraine is debilitating me brutality having put me completely "Out of Order"."

Should you have never experienced a Migraine yourself, please take a moment to find out how crippling they can be by *clicking* your mouse HERE.

"Times such as these are when I am thankful for "batch cooking" and "freezing".  Out of the freezer came the Turkey Stock where it was put onto the top of the Wood Stove to thaw.  Since then I have added celery, onion, carrots and leftover chicken.  A wholesome meal for my Rob when he gets home."

"The Sunshine, even though the day has been bleak, shone through when I received this Happy Mail from my dear friend, Carla.  Just a little something, in what she knows are my favourite colours, "just because".  (the old guy on the bike? Ha ! that was Rob's Birthday Card from my Sister Donna to him)."

Should you ever be "stumped" on what to give someone, drop on over to check out Carla's Sewn Creations & Custom Orders, as there is nothing that says it quite as well as "home made or hand made" is there?  The couple of items handmade by Carla that I have gifted were beyond well received in delight.  Carla does provide shipping as well.  For all details, please *click* HERE.

I have been a sufferer of Migraines since a Child, so I know the what's and whatnots to do, however there are times when none of them work.  I am going to try bed again with hopes I am spared a trip to the hospital for a "shot".

The "Checkerboard Aussies" are all cared for at the moment, Rob's Dinner isn't far from being ready with him on his way home shortly, and I?  I am off to my bed with yet another attempt to conquer this Migraine, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard."

  1. Feel better soon. I grew up having migraines..the 'shot' was the only thing that worked. Now I have silent migraines...they are better.

  2. I to grew up having migraines it was hereditary from my mother whom also suffered from them and both of us would have them for days. I sometimes passed out from them when I was younger , I get them now but not that bad anymore I find it is change in the air pressure that mostly triggers them off ! Now it's just everything else that knocks me for a loop lol ! I do hope you feel better soon !

  6. OMG, I gave that same card to my uncle for his birthday last spring. He is the splitting image of the guy on the bike, LOL.
I am so glad that my migraines went by the wayside when menopause hit. The RARE ones tries to visit but I can usually get rid of it right quick. I hope you can kick that one to the curb in short order.
(My FM on the other hand is wicked the past few days.)

  12. The closest I've come to migraines were sinus infections, which were certainly no picnic. I hope you're doing better by now....
