A Good Start

Last evening after I had posted my blog I went to bed.  From around 6:30 pm until 6:00 am I was in bed as yesterday was a "not many pockets of energy" day for me.  I have to learn to give into the pain and fatigue by telling myself I can't go no more.  Easier said then done I find some days.

I need to learn how to prioritize on how I use the energy pockets, which vary from day today.  Maybe some day I will get it down pat and start feeling somewhat organized and in control again.  Until then today I made a good start.

I managed two loads of laundry washed and hung out on the line, and got our bedroom all dusted.  I had also went back to Port Elgin today to pickup our van which we had cleaned and detailed.  There were a couple areas I found not to be done when I got back home, so back down next week I go.  I was a little more then a tad disappointed, but the bonus to going back is I get to meet up with my girlfriend, Brenda, again.

They did a wicked job on the wash & waxing.  I went to put things back in the cargo storage to find they had forgotten to open and clean them, otherwise with the exception of a couple of other spots it was much better then it had been.  It will get all sorted out next week.

The good start for me today was doing some more decluttering.  I posted a few items on Facebook, and got rid of 5 items and will have $85.00 in my pocket towards getting my hair done for the upcoming wedding (hair appointments can get quite expensive for such occasions).

I had also posted this photo of Rob asking for best offer, and excluding the Aussies as part of the sale, however I have been offered nothing for him once with the statement, "I will take him as he must be good for something" (thanks Vicki), and then another offer for $1.00.  Oh man what was I thinking ??? really that I was going to make more then a buck from his sale is exactly what I had been thinking.

Rob has been busy working on getting our Gazebo "summer ready".  The winter shelter has came off and he has been doing a bit more work on the deck and some reinforcements to the gazebo as well that needed finishing up.  I can't wait to get the furniture all sorted and comfortable again.

Today was more positive, with hopes more to come in the future once I start learning to use my energy pockets more effectively.  For now they have been depleted but well used this day, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

  2. I get how you feel as with my back/buttock pain I have some good moments and some bad moments (or pockets). Just when I have a good day I'm think I'm starting to heal and then the next day is bad and I get so disappointed. Staying positive is a struggle - you do pretty well on that, at least it seems that way to your readers :)
