Here & Gone

I can not believe I am sitting down at 9:32 to just begin my blog post.  I haven't had a post this late in quite some time, as usually I am too bushed by this time and in bed watching a little TV.

This morning after the normal make the bed and do up a few dishes routine, as well as looking after the Aussies needs, I got going on finishing up the 2nd Quarter of the Crabby Cabbie books.  Unfortunately I got called away on an errand not returning until after the lunch hour.

Just before I got home, Rob had arrived home where I found him disassembling the Lakeside Gazebo we had purchased from Canadian Tire on the 30th of June this Year.  It hadn't even been barely up a Month when the zippers, which were plastic, started coming apart, as well as the seams in the canopy as well.  It was coming down and being returned.  I would hate to see how it would be by the end of a full Season of Summer.

Are Gazebo has been Here & Gone.  Difficult to see in the photo, however the seams are coming apart so much that you could see daylight coming through, being only a matter a time before they really gave.  This was occurring in more then one part of the canopy, more like 1/2 dozen places that were noticeable.  The deck is truly not as cozy as it was with the Gazebo, and hopefully we will  have a replacement sooner then naught as I was so enjoying its ambiance.  My big old bear seem disconcerted with the whole matter.

Speaking of Bears, I had one saunter across the road in front of me today.  He was not in much of a hurray at all.  I could not believe it was a time when I left my Camera behind at home !  Geesh could I not have caught a break?  I hadn't seen a Bear up on the Peninsula for a couple of years, not that there is a shortage of any, just none had come across my path.  And when they do come across my path, I hope to always be inside a vehicle, not otherwise exposed to the elements of nature.

Today I had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Diodati, or more fondly referred to by many, Dr. David.  My MRI came back clear, so much to my relief there was no evidence of bran damage anywhere in my head.  My blood work all came back normal, and my Blood Pressure was excellent at 130/90.  I am in pretty good health for a middle aged Woman, other then the osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and the Fibromyalgia, I am in pretty darn good shape if I say so myself.  Thank goodness for small blessings.

Finally late this afternoon I did get back to the books and completed them around 6 pm, then got onto folding two loads of laundry and got them put away.

It has been one of those days where I have been going all day but seemingly not getting anything accomplished, if you know what I mean?  I am certain I have more days like this then I would care to admit.

Tomorrow will be yet another new day, and hopefully a new day I will be happy to celebrate by awaking to it, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.
