The Three Nieces

Today did not start out too great for my dear Rob.  He was left and gone up the road about 7 am this morning when my phone rang, "come and get me".  His Crabby Cabbie vehicle had a flat tire right on top of the North Hill.

By the time I collected him, we collected the early morning fare, and got back home he was off in the other Taxi to get his next fare.  The flat tire vehicle had to sit on the side of the road until he got back later this morning.

I had errands to do this morning as well.  By the time I got home it had been 11:30 am, and my Company was already here.

My Niece Joanne, my Great Niece, Erica, and my Great Great Niece Ariya.  I was happy I got to see Erica open the Baby Gift I had gotten her in person.  Grandma Jo, is one pretty happy Grandma, and me? a very proud Auntie.

Bandit loves babies too, and was being quite curious about our Ariya, and I LOVE holding babies.

We had many laughs together.

We had a couple serious talks about being 13 days old.

The sleepy moments were "priceless".

Eventually like all my past subjects it was "Please, enough with the camera already !"

I enjoyed having my three nieces here for the most part of the day.  I am pretty certain I will be seeing this little girl on a regular basis as time warrants it.  Ariya will be travelling up to see her Grandma from time to time, and I am certain I will be making the odd trip to her home when Grandma travels down there to visit.

Once the girls had headed South down the road, I got the laundry folded and put away, the lunch dishes done up, however I still need to get my bed made before I head into it after MasterChef Canada is over this evening, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

  3. She looks like a sweetheart! Bandit certainly thinks so.

Last month a grand-niece came into the world. My niece had her first, and that's a first for me too. That's what happens when you have nephews or nieces who are just a few years younger than you are...
