It Ends With Goodness

Last night was a terrible evening with a headache that never left.  Sleep? that might have been a whole hour, if that.  Life does not stop for some of us regardless of whether we find sleep or not.  This morning went on as usual with the only difference I was out the door by 8:30 am and down the highway not to return until at least 2 pm..

This part of my day I will touch upon tomorrow, as right I am exhausted, barely keeping another (or maybe the same) headache at bay.

Once back home there were dogs who needed me, "Crabby Cabbie" billing to be done, phone calls to make, and a trip down to the bank before I began making our Dinner at at 5:30 pm.  Rob arrived home at 7:15, and we finally sat down to eat around 7:45.  Dinner was delicious ....

"It was amazing.  One of our favourite meals, and a good way to use up leftover ham."

Really should anyone need a fix of "cuteness" and some "smiles" drop over to see an awesome video and lots of sweet photos HERE.

The day ended up with "goodness" of a meal enjoyed by Rob and myself.  On that note I am off towards hopefully a good night's sleep, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".

  6. Hello Cindy, I am sorry about your headache.
I hope that today will be a better day for you.
Your dinner does look Delicious. I love to cook with left over ham too, usually split pea with ham soup.

  7. Oh Cindy, those headaches are coming to close together. You need to make another trip back to the doctors. You need to look after yourself.

    Love quiche also.

  8. I hope your headache goes away soon.

The quiche looks yummy! I'm sure Crabby Cabbie enjoyed it.

  9. Sounds like a pretty icky day. But at least it ended on a high note with your quiche. Thanks for linking this week. Hope your headache has gone away.

    1. Wanted to let you know that your quiche is in the top five "most viewed" this week. It will be featured when See Ya in the Gumbo goes live this evening!

  10. Quiche is one of life's great pleasures, after all.

How nice of you to drop around to have a wee visit with me to see what I have been up to from time to time. I look forward to your comments as they add much brightness to my each and every day to know there are such wonderful people out there.
