The Fool Or The Fooler ?

Did you get "caught" before the Noon hour today?  LOL, I could have, should have, but didn't .... read on, as Explore the Bruce released an astounding Article this morning.  Check it out at the following link:

I know I did "get" a couple of April Fools today !!!  Love it, love it, love it ...... LOL.

Today marks the 8th Year Anniversary of when we moved into our home here, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".  I can't believe I am already in my 9th Year of returning to Bruce County !  Time flows and goes ..... way too quickly.  Now since I have gotten a bit older I realize how quickly, with me now trying to live my each and every day to its fullest, regardless how fatigued I am, since I do enjoy "living" !

From a very young age, I have always hated "missing out" on anything, so why start now !!

"Spring Cleaning has begun this morning in our basement.  Bandit's and Lexus's domain, and apparently Rob's where it drops it remains.  This is the "before", with hopefully progress photos to follow throughout the rest of this week.  Hoping Rob will get the "whelping" pen set up for Lexus in this corner tomorrow. "

I did manage to get the whole corner cleared of the Kennels, with everything all vacuumed up.  Tomorrow brings the pails of hot water and Javex to freshen up the cement floors.  Ewww, did vacuum up some of those really nasty "spiders" which I hate so much  !!!!

"After my dear Rob had risen around the Noon Hour, after only getting to bed at 4, we headed out for a road trip to Southampton, as we had an appointment down that way today.  This is the Lake Huron shoreline road between Sauble Beach and Southampton."

"My "Crabby Cabbie" had been gifted two Gift Certificates for the Walkerhouse in Southampton a while back.  Today was the day we thought we would have lunch there and cash one $25.00  certificate in, and keep the other in "reserve" for a "next" time."

"My poor tired "Crabby Cabbie" patiently waiting for lunch to be served.  Too bad, so sad .... lol."

"Rob had an omelette with salad on the side, and I had my "fav", a Chicken Caesar Salad wrap with a side of fries (fries are something I haven't had for ever so long).  The wrap was so good, packed with lots of chicken and fixings."

Once lunch was enjoyed and over with, we had a bit of time to "kill" before our appointment, so we took ourselves over to the Dollarama in Port Elgin to pickup a couple of things I had needed to get there.  What did we do before Dollar Stores came along ???

We made our appointment in a perfectly timely manner, then made our way back home.  Rob took a detour off Hwy 21 along a very pleasant "scenic" route.

"I know snow can be pretty, but I just love when Spring arrives with all the greenery returning along with it."

"Didn't have to worry about this sign today.  All clear to "GO" !"

"Isn't this so peaceful and serene looking?  I loved it.  I am pretty sure the ducks were enjoying it as well as the muskrat Rob had seen swimming over on his side."

"Another barn I was pleased to see had some repairs made to it.  Hooray !"

We finally made it back home after the hour of 5:00 pm.  I am tired, my Rob is tired, as it has been yet another full day, but not one that was not enjoyed.  I love spending any time possible I can get with Rob, so it is all a bonus, tired or not.

The end has came to the March Challenges that I had posted way back HERE.  Let's see what I did get accomplished:

Personal:
1)  Prep and Paint the secondary Spare bedroom which was decluttered in February. **Done, just needs one more coat & everything put back together !!!
2)  Begin learning the Strength and Flexibility exercises for the VON SMART, where I volunteer once a
week, so I can begin instructing.  **I even began instructing !!!

Finance:
1)  Record all "Crabby Cabbie" transactions in the books every week.  **Accountant had the books for almost the whole month of March
2)  Start a jar/container for loonies & toonies to go towards a much neededHoliday for Rob and myself  **Savings have been procured.
(hopefully some Year, but thinking I should start saving now, lol)

Decluttering:
1)  Hallway & Bathroom Closets
2)  Clean and organize our Freezers (since I had too much going to do in February)  **Got r' Done !
3)  Downstairs entry ~ coats, boots, hats, gloves, doggie leashes, etc...

Considering how busy I was in March, and having Aiden for the whole of March Break, I think I have done pretty dang good.  Pat myself on the back, I will, I will ....

Now onto the "Get My Plate Into Shape" Challenge:

Weight/Height:
 150 lbs : 5'5"      Today:  149 lbs.

Measurements:
Hips:         41 inches (child bearing they have always been)
Stomach:   38 inches (oh man, should be no more then 35 inches)  Today:  36 inches
Waist:       32 inches (used to be 28 and even less at one time)
Breasts:     36 inches (used to be a carpenter's delight for many prior years)  Today:  35 inches

There have been a couple changes made, so it is a start with hopefully more to come, as I am continuing on with this until I have reached my .  Wish me luck !!!

I am pleased to report that Lena over at Frugal and Thankful has checked in with a 2lb weight loss and -2 inches off her stomach this month.  Lena reached her goal of being able to fit into the "brand new" dress she had purchased for an outing at the end of the month.  I can't wait to see the photos of Lena in her new dress !

Mrs. Thrifty over at New Beginnings reported in last week with a 2 lb loss, and an increase in her walking.  Way to go !

I am waiting to hear back yet from Bonnie and Sharon, but I am sure they have been persevering towards their own Goals !

This weight loss stuff is serious business, and very difficult to achieve at times, but well worth the "pay off" in both energy and health.  Both Lena and Mrs. Thrifty are going to carry on along me with the Challenge until our goals have been achieved.  Thank gals, I do enjoy company.  Just waiting to hear back from the two other girls, as I certainly would enjoy having their company as well.

I have been fighting an approaching migraine since we returned home, so before I can not see through these eyes for much longer, I need to now call it a night to get myself rested up for a new day tomorrow, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
