The Best Medicine Would Be None Other Then ?

I actually have to admit last night I had the best sleep I have had in what seems like eons.  Even after my "Crabby Cabbie" had arrived home in the wee hours of the morn, I was still able to drift back off to sleep for another hour or two.  Sleep is like a little piece of Heaven to me on the occasion when it does come around for a straight six hours or so for me.

I am hoping this is a sign the new medication is working, and my body is beginning to heal itself.

I most certainly haven't been feeling too well so far today, as weakness and dizziness still prevails.  I suppose I should be happy with the amount of energy I do have, accepting that the rest should be regained in another week or two.  It is very difficult to be sick, as I find it frustrating and even boring.  How much sitting around can one person do in a day?  Dumb question as I am sure lots of people do nothing but sit and watch a TV screen, day in and day out.

I LOVE walking, have always loved walking and hopefully will be able to walk until the end of my life.  What could possibly be the Best Medicine to live by?  Take a little time out to watch a very enlightening, hopefully to some, video by Dr. Mike Evans.  I absolutely LOVE this video !

,

How could what Dr. Mike Evans have to say NOT make sense to anyone?  Makes perfect sense to me, even answering the Question "What Is the Best Medicine"?  Of course the answer is "EXERCISE" !!!!  Ding, ding, ding .... 30 minutes out a 24 hour day?  Three 10 minute intervals a day?  What can be the big deal about this, when there are so many rewards attached to a daily 1/2 hour investment of one's time?

Personally I am striving at the "bit" to get back out walking again everyday.  I actually ventured a little further more away from the house this morning when I had Missy Mercedes out.  Once into a routine of a 1/2 hour investment per day, it should become as natural as waking up every morning.  I depend on exercise, and live for it on a daily basis, really missing it when a schedule has not allowed.

LOL, for the time being I am "winded" coming up small flight of stairs, however this is just a "temporary" set back before I am back to the best Medicine going, that being of course "Exercise".  Try it some time, the benefits are astounding, and the facts and statistics all right there in Dr. Evan's video !

My biggest challenge today was to clear what had become a "eye sore" to my eyes the past week or so .... yesterday Rob had brought up the boxes for me.

"Combined with the numerous "dust bunnies" that have been stacking themselves up neatly, Christmas Decorations were starting to look very unattractive to my eye."

"Slowly but surely each and every item was handled and put back into it's own box, until it was all put away until Christmas time rolls around again.  Dust Bunnies removed, there emerges a sight  much more pleasing to my eye."

The next challenge for me is to find where I had put the "antique milk pitcher" I had, along with a Pewter plague I had displayed on the sideboard.  I will leave this challenge for tomorrow.

My "Crabby Cabbie" is home with me today.  I so enjoy when Rob and I have some time spent together, even if it is him being in his Lazyboy taking in some TV, and me sitting alongside with my laptop.  I find it is just "nice" being in each other's presence sometimes.

The Sunshine has been out in "full force" outside our windows.  I wonder if the temperature has come up any from the -13 Celsius when I had first been out this morning?  No matter, Sunshine makes one feel good all in itself, never no mind to the temperatures.

With our bed made, and a load of laundry yet to be folded, I am thinking I that will be quite enough "doing" for one day, "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".
